Ian Gray
VP, Intelligence — Flashpoint

Ian Gray is a VP of Intelligence at Flashpoint, where he focuses on cybercrime intelligence, particularly ransomware operations and cryptocurrency-based fraud. He holds a PhD from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, where his research focused on the ransomware ecosystem. Ian is an adjunct professor at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and Fordham University’s Cybersecurity Program. He is also a US Navy veteran.

Paul Daubman
Senior Hunt Analyst — Flashpoint

Paul is a Senior HUNT Analyst that specializes in malware analysis and reverse engineering. He previously worked at the FBI on the Computer Analysis Response Team. He now researches novel malware techniques, emerging threats, and automates IOC extraction to help defenders detect and respond to threats faster.

Dr. Erika Voss serves as Blue Yonder’s Chief Security Officer. In this role, she is spearheading the vision, strategy and execution of comprehensive and industry-leading security measures. She is focused on application security, access control, authentication, third-party risk management, and intrusion detection, ensuring robust security frameworks and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Erika boasts a distinguished cybersecurity career spanning over two decades. She has held high-level positions at renowned companies such as Capital One, Salesforce, Oracle Public Cloud, Microsoft, and Amazon Web Services. 

Recognized for her exceptional leadership and contributions to the industry, Erika was awarded the CISOs Connect’s Top 100 Accelerated CISOs Award (A100), which honors emerging security leaders, and Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s Women in Supply Chain Award in the DEI Pioneer category.

Erika holds a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity from Northcentral University, along with a master’s in Security Administration and a bachelor’s in Computer Operations Technology from Southwestern College.

Aaron Buchanan
Senior Lead Cybersecurity Research Engineer — Finance

Aaron Buchanan is a seasoned cybersecurity leader with a deep specialization in cyber-enabled fraud and criminal threat mitigation. Currently serving as a Senior Lead Cyber Security Research Engineer, Aaron brings over a decade of experience in designing and operationalizing advanced threat intelligence and fraud prevention strategies. Aaron has pioneered collaborative solutions to combat threats from compromised credentials and stolen checks. His innovations led to a dramatic reduction in manual effort and delivered measurable fraud loss mitigation. Aaron’s work focuses on automating and scaling intelligence pipelines that transform open-source and vendor data into actionable insights. His approach blends technical rigor with strategic foresight, enabling organizations to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats. He also played a pivotal role in mentoring hundreds of professionals in link analysis, data wrangling, and Python programming, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

Before transitioning to the private sector, Aaron served nearly two decades in the U.S. military as a Naval Intelligence Officer and the Defense Intelligence Agency as a Senior Intelligence Analyst. His career was marked by a series of high-impact intelligence and leadership roles across combatant command headquarters and Special Operations units. His assignments included Officer in Charge of a Special Forces Liaison Team embedded with Iraqi Special Operation Forces, a Targeteer with the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Command supporting Carrier Air Wings aboard the USS NIMITZ and USS Reagan, and a Senior Intelligence Analyst specializing in counterterrorism and link analysis supporting NORAD/USNORTHCOM with advanced link analysis and threat finance monitoring.

Jorge Orchilles
Senior Director, Readiness and Proactive Security — Verizon

Jorge Orchilles is a leader in Cyber Security and currently a Senior Director at Verizon running the Readiness and Proactive Security Team (Exposure and Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, Red Team, and Dedicated Purple Team). He is the author of the Purple Team Exercise Framework and creator of the C2 Matrix project. Prior to Verizon, he was the CTO at SCYTHE for 3 years, and led the offensive security team at Citi for over 10 years. 

Jorge is a SANS Principal Instructor, Purple Team Ambassador, and the author of SEC565: Red Team Operations and Adversary Emulation.

Jorge contributes to a number of projects including MITRE ATT&CK, MITRE ATLAS, Atomic Red Team, and  CVSSv3.1 He is the author Microsoft Windows 7 Administrator’s Reference.

Jorge holds post-graduate degrees from Stanford and Florida International University in Advanced Computer Security & Master of Science. He holds multiple certifications from GIAC, ISC2, and ISACA.

Jorge is a Fellow at the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) and National Security Institute.

Austin Herrin
Information Security Executive — Media & Entertainment

Austin is a highly experienced Information Security Executive with a robust background in Security Operations, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, and Offensive Operations. Austin is currently working on his second Masters of with concentration in LLM Security, and has accolades from multiple universities and certifying bodies including GIAC, ISC2, ISACA, Cisco, and Microsoft.

Austin began his career in Security Engineering within the Department of Defense by serving as active duty in the United States Marine Corps. Over the duration of his service, he deployed to both Africa and the Middle East leading teams and serving in many Information Security, Intelligence, and Security Operations Leadership capacities. When not deployed Austin focused time on developing various program areas and consulted with DoD government affiliates such as MIT, Raytheon, and BBN Technologies in a consultancy position.

Upon honorable completion of duty, Austin went on to construct Information Security, Executive & Brand Protection, and Data Protection programs within the Private Equity space. Austin has served as a trusted Executive in the Medical, Financial, and Media and Entertainment industries leading the construction and implementation of multiple programs including Red Team & Adversary Emulation, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Threat & Vulnerability Management, and Security Operations.
