Flashpoint has introduced the ability for teams to share search filters directly within the Echosec interface. This feature allows users to edit, attach, or detach filters from any search they have created or that has been shared with them with edit privileges. By enabling this collaborative management, teams can collectively fine-tune their parameters to significantly reduce false positives and improve the accuracy of their alerts.

When one analyst optimizes a filter to better capture relevant activity, the entire team immediately gains access to that refined logic. This ensures that everyone remains aligned on the most critical information while helping users tailor their results to specific organizational needs.
How It Works
Filter Sharing is straightforward within Echosec:
- Navigate to Search Filters: Access your filters via the Saved Search Settings in the Monitor dashboard or by selecting the Search Filters icon in Echosec.
- Enable Sharing: Select the specific filter you wish to broadcast to your team and scroll to the section titled Share with Organization.
- Toggle On: Switch the toggle to on. Please note that once other users attach this filter to their own searches, it cannot be made private again, ensuring permanent access for your colleagues.
- Manage Visibility: If you want to declutter your view, you can click the three dots in the Filter panel to hide any shared filters that are not relevant to your current investigation.
